Direct from Houston Texas we are proud to welcome Eugene Hideaway Bridges to The Cannery Arts Centre to perform his brand of classic Blues. Eugene will be joined by 2018 WAM Best Regional act Tracey Barnett linking his powerhouse show to The WA’S Finest series of events brought to you by Cole Bishop, The Cannery Arts Centre and Kyza Presents and Supported by Dudley Newton Optometrists, Elders Insurance and Elpha. Local acts Carpark Social and Rachel Vibart feature as special guests.
Twenty years ago in 1999, Eugene ‘Hideaway” Bridges, made his first Australian visit and ever since those sellout shows he has been coming back - at least once a year (sometimes twice), right through until 2019. During that time he has played in every Australian State, every capital city and numerous regional and country towns. It’s testament to his popularity and the many friends he has made here that he returns every year for the Australian summer, always with something new but always with a wonderful songbook of original tunes that he has written and recorded over the past two decades.
