WA'S Finest Blue Child Collective

Saturday, 9 February 2019

Time: 6.00pm - 11.00pm

Location: Cannery Arts Centre

WA’s finest is a series of events running over three months at The Cannery Arts Centre Esperance. The series will feature appearances by all 2018 WAM best regional act Nominees also a stellar lineup of Esperance locals. We would love to thank our three local sponsors for helping us make this project a reality, Dudley Newton Optometrist, Elders Insurance and Elpha, we cant thank you enough for your support in bringing this series to life.

We are stoked to announce that our first Live Event will be headlined by WA fluid groove legends Blue Child Collective. Following their nomination for WAM best regional act 2018 BCC have been making their music matter scoring support slots for Xavier Rudd, Holly Holy and The Jungle Giants, also releasing their latest album Wake Up To The Sound.

BCC will be joined by Esperance three piece Grand Casual who after a mad house 2018 managed to be nominated as WAMs best regional act 2018. The guys bring a super upbeat blues, reggae infusion and are not to be missed.

Denmark based Reggae Roots artist Myles Mitchell joins the lineup, with a cracking 2018 that saw him perform at The Blues At Bridgetown 2018 for the first time. His Rootsy tunes a true cause to get up and dance.

The Line-up is rounded out by local lad Campbell Garratt, who flew out of the blocks in 2018. This guy literally went from an Open Mic early Jan 2018 to scoring himself a slot on the recently established Barefoot Coral Coast Tour, seeing him perform as far North as Exmouth.

WA’s Finest series is brought to you by The Cannery Arts Centre and Kyza Presents.
